Divyang Waghela
Chief General Manager

Manages the CSPC which works to evolve sustainable approaches for salinity ingress prevention and mitigation and enhance livelihood resilience of coastal communities. He pursued his MBA with specialization in finance and has been working in the development sector for more than ten years. Having started career with Asian Development Bank supported project for bulk water transmission in Gujarat; he made a transition to the non-profit sector in 2004 and got involved in implementation of community-based decentralized drinking water and sanitation projects. After working with WASMO for more than five years; in 2008, he joined the Sir Ratan Tata Trust, Mumbai and anchored the drinking water portfolio of the Trust. He took over as the CGM of the CSPC from April, 2013.


Arvind Parmar
Programme Manager (WASH)

Leads the drinking water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) portfolio of the CSPC. He has a diploma in civil engineering and degree in Political Science. He has more than 23 years of rich and extensive experience in development sector. He has worked in Multi-sector Rehabilitation and Reconstruction programme of natural disasters at Kutch and Kashmir with Aga Khan Planning Building Services (India). He possesses enriching experience in drinking water and sanitation sector in various capacities with different organisations.


Bhupendra Jani
Programme Officer (Natural Resource Management)

Leads the natural resource management portfolio of the CSPC. He has to his credit a diploma in Civil Engineering and certification of VOLAG MAP from IRMA. He has an extensive experience of 23 years in the development sector. He worked for reputed organisations such as AKRSP (I), Cohesion foundation, etc. His major experience has been in the Community Managed Natural Resources Program, Multi-sector Rehabilitation and Reconstruction, Participatory Irrigation Management and livelihood.


Devshree Purohit
Programme Manager (Agriculture)

Leads the agriculture portfolio of the CSPC. She is an Agriculture Engineer from … University, Udaipur with work experience of more than 8 years in the development sector. She started her career as a Trainee officer in 2005 at Gramin Vikas Trust followed by … years with N M Sadguru Water Development Foundation and … years …. Watershed Organisation Trust. She has work exposure of the tribal belts of Gujarat and Rajasthan, where she handled Project management and monitoring of watershed development projects. In 2010, she joined the Sir Ratan Tata Trust (SRTT) and has been deputed to CSPC, Ahmedabad as a Programme Officer for anchoring the Agriculture portfolio.


Dhaval Shah
Finance & Accounts Officer

He is overall in-charge of finance, accounts, administration and human resources matters of the CSPC. He completed his Masters in Commerce from M.S University, Vadodara in 2002 and thereafter worked as an Accountant in Private sector. He has been associated with the non-profit sector since 2007 and has worked for reputed organisations such as AKRSPI.


Ketan Hingu
Sr. Programme Officer (Water, Sanitation & Hygiene)

He is part of the WASH team at CSPC and coordinates Behavioural Change Communication (BCC) interventions to promote sanitation in rural areas at CSPC. He holds Masters degree in Social Work from M. S. University, Baroda and has professional experience of over 12 years in the development sector. Previously associated with Micronutrient Initiative (a Canada based International Organization working for the promotion of micronutrients; Vitamin A, Iron, Folic Acid, Iodine and Zinc), Gujarat as Divisional Coordinator, facilitating the District Health Machineries in implementation of the ‘Childhood Diarrhoea Management Programme in 3 districts of Gujarat. He had fruitful association with UNICEF as ‘District Child Protection Consultant’ for two and half years and also has experience of working with Water and Sanitation Management Organisation for over 7 years, as ‘Coordinator’ and facilitated the ISAs and Pani Samitis in Kutch district in effective implementation of the Village Water Supply Scheme.


Pallavi Behara
Programme Officer PMP

She has extensive experience of planning, management, monitoring and evaluation, documentation, research study of programmes/projects/events on Science Education, Education, Environment of children and youth; Livelihood, Health, Entrepreneurship for youth, women. She pursued B.Sc. Zoology (Honours) from Ranchi University and PGDRD from XISS with specialization in Project Management and over ten years of experience in the development sector. She has an expertise in project conceptualization, design and framework; team building, management, training and orientation, HRM practices; communication, documentation, institution relationship & branding; liaison and network with Govt. Depts. and national institutions. She was earlier associated with VASCSC as Programme Officer for seven years, during which she anchored the programmes & events on science education (students, schools, teachers, scientists, communities) at state and national level. As Core team member of ‘Science Express Project’, (started as an Indo-German initiative) worked for a national level multi-partnered project with the Department of Science & Technology, Ministry of Environment & Forests and Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India. She was also associated with SHARDA Trust, The Arvind Mills Ltd., and ICECD in the past.


Kamlesh Solanki
Sr. Programme Officer WASH

He is part of the drinking water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) portfolio of the CSPC. He has to his credit PGRD from IGNOU, BRS from Lok Bharti Sanosara, Bhavnagar, Saurashtra University. He has an extensive experience of 28 years in the development sector. He worked for organisations such as WASMO, BAIF, PAHAL, Feedback Foundation, Delhi. His major experience has been in livelihood, livestock, women empowerment, training and capacity development, drinking water and CLTS resource person.


Chhagan Vaghela
Sr. Programme Officer (Education)

He forms part of the education portfolio of the CSPC. He has an extensive experience of over 21 years in the development sector. He has to his credit Master of Rural Management from Gujarat Vidyapith. He has worked for organisations such as Jan Vikas, DSC, Sahjeevan, Catholic Relief Services, Water and Sanitation Management Organization, WASMO, Forest Dept., Government of Gujarat. His major experience has been in drinking water and sanitation, agriculture, biodiversity and conservation.


Harish Parmar
Programme Officer (Education)

He is part of the education portfolio of the CSPC. He has an extensive experience of over 20 years in the development sector. He has to his credit LLB, B. Com from Gujarat University. He worked for reputed organisations such as Caritas India, KSSS, Focus India, Cohesion, St. Xavier Social Service. His major experience has been in the Panchayati Raj, Self Help Groups, disaster management, education.


Aseem Acharya
Programme Associate WASH

He is part of the drinking water, sanitation and hygiene portfolio of the CSPC. He looks after monitoring and evaluation and technological interventions of CSPC. He pursued B.Tech (Electronics and Communication) and has completed his post graduation from Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), Gujarat. Being new in the development sector, he brings some fresh ideas and vigour in the approach being followed.



Vikalp Gupta
Programme Associate Agriculture

He is part of the agriculture portfolio of the CSPC and also involved with non-farm based livelihood. He has to his credit M.Sc. Plant Pathology from MPUAT, Udaipur, Rajasthan.
