Jalprabandhan aims at strengthening local governance and people’s institutions for sustainable rainfed
agriculture and livestock economy in the Kutch district of Gujarat

Strengthening Local Governance and People’s Institutions for Sustainable Rain-fed Agriculture and Livestock Economy in Kutch District of
Gujarat’ or ‘Jalprabandhan’ as referred to in the native language, is being implemented by Sahjeevan, a not-for-profit organisation. The
project is funded by Hindustan Unilever (HUL) Foundation and Coastal Salinity Prevention Cell (CSPC), an associate organisation of the
Tata Trusts. CSPC would play the pivotal role of technical back-stopping and monitoring for realisation of the project objectives.
